How to use this Manual
This installation guide is intended to be used as a step by step, quick start guide, to
facilitate installation and configuration.

damage to the Generator or the Application. Do not proceed beyond a CAUTION
notice until the indicated conditions are fully understood or met.
Caution, risk of electric shock. Ensure power to the Generator has been removed
before proceeding.
Safety Notice to Users

WARNING
These instructions must be read thoroughly and understood before
installation and operation of your Peak Corona 1010 Generator. Use of
the Generator in a manner not specified by Peak Scientific MAY impair
the SAFETY provided by the equipment.
When handling, operating or carrying out any maintenance, personnel
must employ safe engineering practices and observe all relevant local
health and safety requirements and regulations. The attention of UK
users is drawn to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and the
Institute of Electrical Engineers regulations.
If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer,
the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.

Unpack the generator from the shipping crate and position on a flat surface, in
desired area.
WARNING the weight of the unit constitutes a two man lift. Safe lifting practices are advised.

Remove the fascia from the Corona 1010A, by first pulling towards you.
Carefully remove the HMI wire from the screen and before removing the fascia
panel fully.

Next pull the fascia upwards and away from the generator.

Now take the left side panel off, by removing the two screws shown in the image
above, using the hex key (00-5843) provided.
Carefully remove the earth wire tab from the door before removing the panel fully.

The side panel can now be removed by pulling the panel towards you.

With the side panel removed you now have access to the transit bracket. This
is located under the compressor and is marked with a sticker reading Remove
Before Use. To remove the transit bracket, first remove the 4 screws from the
bracket as shown.

The bracket can now be slid out from underneath the compressor tray.

Now Re-attach the side panel and replace the screws.
Remember to reconnect the earth wire onto the earth tab of the door.

Connect either the 1/4” compression fittings (02-4421) or the
1-4M BSPP x 6mm Push Fit (02-4600) to the Nitrogen and Drain ports.

Depending on the size of the fittings used, attach either the supplied ¼” Teflon Tubing (001266) or the 6mm PE Tubing (00-1282) to the NItrogen and Drain ports. If using the 1/4”
compression fittings (02-4421), the Tube insert OD 6mm ID 4mm (3300704) must be
attached to the end of the tubing before connection to the generator.
Finally, connect it to a suitable unsealed drain connection or container.
WARNING: The container used MUST be a plastic material and MUST NOT be glass for
safety reasons. The container MUST NOT have an airtight seal as water and air will be
expelled periodically under slight pressure.

CAUTION
Select the appropriate mains cable from the fittings kit and plug the IEC 60320/C13
cable into the mains input at the rear of the generator.
Please note both 110V and 220-240V US cables have been supplied, select the
correct mains cable for your supply voltage.

power supply.

The LED on the front of the generator should now illuminate
GREEN as the unit starts up.

General Notes
Electrical requirements are 110-230VAC nominal +/- 10% depending on chosen model.
However, running continuoulsy at voltages outwith this is not recommended. Extended
periods at extremes can have a detrimental effect on the operation and life of the
Generator.
