 Manual actuation of solenoid valve

Alarms
 After failing to clear the water in 80
attempts, the Auto-drain will enter error
mode (Red LED)
 UCB is required to use the Alarm feature
Independent Operation
 This feature allows the Auto-drain to be
used as a pressure off-loader.
 UCB is required to use this function.
Daisy Chain
 Unlimited Auto-drains can be daisy
chained.
 UCB is not required for Daisy Chain but will
not allow Alarm Function.
 Alarm Signal in Daisy Chain
o 1VDC – OK
o 2VDC – Warning Alarm
o 3VDC – Fault Alarm, Stop.
MatLab
 A wrapper has been created in MatLab for
the alarm function.

Considerations
 The Auto-Drain is gravity fed, so needs to be
lower than the filter bowl.
 The Auto-Drain is under pressure so the
drain valve can be positioned higher than
the Auto-Drain
 The button on the assembly indicates the
bottom of the assembly
 Each Auto Drain requires a separate
solenoid to drain.
 Drain Valves must be 24VDC and have a
suitable pressure rating.
 The Auto Drain can be used in system
without the UCB but will not allow the
alarm or independent operation functions.
