Scope
The purpose of this document is to serve notice of the discontinuation of a product, to define the level of
service support and where applicable, advise of any new or alternative models that replace the
discontinued product. In this case, the notice is issued retrospectively to effectively communicate the
status of these products within the company.

Effective Date
This retrospective notice confirms that each of the products listed above have now been retired, and all
were previously discontinued for a minimum period of 5 years. Peak Scientific will no longer accept orders
for, or issue service contracts against these generators.
Replacement Products
There are direct replacements for some of these models, where applicable these are shown in the final
column. If no direct replacement is indicated, there will be products within the Peak Scientific product
portfolio which are capable of delivering a similar quantity or quality of gas. Please contact your Peak
Scientific account manager should the requirement arise.
Service and Support
Peak Scientific will endeavor to provide ‘best efforts’ support for 1 year from the date of this notice;
support may vary between models and is dependent on the future availability of spare parts.
A limited number of service kits/spare parts are available for some of these products. Please contact your
Peak Scientific account manager if you have a requirement for service kits/spares.
Product Obsolescence
One year from the issue of this notice, the products listed above will be formally obsoleted and Peak
Scientific will no longer offer direct support.
